Cambridge was dusted with a little light drizzle in the morning, the sort of thing that doesn't stop cricket games but can make them a bit miserable. A little bit to the west, however, the situation was more extreme, and the cancellation calls went out even before there was even time to set the video to record The FA Cup final . . .
. . . which might just have played a role in the early decision, although given that we only had nine players (and that Coton thrashed Remnants the night after Remnants beat us) it was maybe a lucky escape.
