Romsey Town vs. Gransden

Saturday, August 22, 1992

Romsey Town (252/2 in 40 6-ball overs)
Gransden (98 all out in 26 6-ball overs)
by 154 runs.

Report by Daniel Mortlock:

It was a Romsey master-class today as we dominated an under-manned Gransden (who only had seven men). Phil Bradford (46) and Andy Owen (128) put on 84 for the first wicket and then things got even better as Nigel Arnold (60*) joined Andy to put on 164 for the second wicket, the biggest partnership in club history. Having scored our highest-ever league total, 252/2, we then dismissed Gransden fairly easily (although their "98 all out" was actually 98/6 - they'd run out of batsmen), thus also completing our second biggest ever runs victory.
